The Christian as a Soldier
PART 3: Raymond Kirkpatrick looks at two passages that deal with the Christian as a soldier. Raymond emphasises the fact that the believer in the midst of a spiritual conflict, and as a result we should stand firm in the face of the adversary. From Ephesians 6, Raymond brings out poignant lessons in relation to the Believer’s conflict, courage, camaraderie and communication. From 2 Timothy 2, Raymond exhorts believers to understand the charge of the soldier in remaining faithful to defend divine truth, hold fast in the midst of adversity.
